  • This project involved investigating risk factors for predicting surgical site infection in gunshot wound patients who developed diaphyseal fractures. My role in this project mainly consisted of developing the registry of gunshot wound patients, which involved conducting retrospective chart reviews and inputting patient risk factors into comorbidity calculators, such as the Charles Comorbidity Index. In addition, I assisted with writing the manuscript, namely the literature review and introduction sections.

  • This award serves as acknowledgement of my enduring dedication and volunteer engagement with Ashic Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting childhood cancer patients and offering housing to families from villages who cannot afford treatment for their children. My involvement, both in person and remotely in Bangladesh, involves engaging with the children and their families. My responsibilities include distributing hygiene kits, toys, and sharing meaningful conversations with them.

  • As the marketing strategist and team lead, I spearheaded our go-to-market plan during MSU’s 2-Day Entrepreneurship Venture competition. Over an intense 48-hour sprint, I guided our team through idea validation, branding, and pitch development—ultimately leading us to a second-place finish among a competitive field of student entrepreneurs. The experience sharpened my skills in rapid ideation, collaborative leadership, and persuasive storytelling under pressure.
